ABOUT PROJECT

In today’s complex world the topic of graduate employability has become the center of many
academic studies and public discussion. Nowadays, the graduates face many difficulties due to
factors including fierce competition and skill gaps between the training they receive during
studies and the employers’ expectations. In addition, it is worth mentioning the lack of network
many graduates face upon graduation.

“Future Experts Meet Current Experts” is an initiative that is specifically designed to tackle the
issue of graduate employability in the Estonian context, with special attention to the
perspectives of students who have roots in various EU and non-EU countries. The team is
made up of vibrant, enthusiastic and fun-loving individuals from various bachelor’s and master’s
level programs at TLU. Project participants have one common passion: a deep interest in the
topic of graduate employability and a desire to get to the root cause of the problem based on
evidence and expertise. Our aim is to strengthen the connection between the university and the
labor market.
